What Is Molokaʻi Mudbog?
Molokaʻi Mudbog is a grassroots off-road racing event held on the Alcon family homestead. What began decades ago returned not as a nostalgia act, but as a full-scale community effort powered by volunteers, racers, and supporters from across the islands.
This is raw motorsports. Loud engines. Deep mud. And a track built by hand, together. This event wasn’t revived for profit. It was revived because it mattered. For the Alcon ʻohana, the passion for mud bog racing never disappeared. One phone call brought it back. Competing off-island lit the fire. Bringing it home made it real.
Every inch of the track, every barrier, every detail was shaped by family and volunteers who gave countless hours to make something special for Molokaʻi.
2025 was OUR First Year Back after decades since the last homestead mudbog!
What once required leaving the island finally came home.
Powered by ʻOhana & Aloha
From the Bog Crew volunteers to food vendors, sponsors, and supporters, this event existed because people showed up. Businesses donated. Families sacrificed time. Racers brought their builds. Spectators followed the rules and brought the energy.
Admission was free for racers and spectators by design. Because this event belongs to the community.
